Maria Iva is an award-winning Canadian landscape painter based in Mississauga, Ontario. Despite her home base, she is constantly on the move, seeking inspiration from the diverse natural landscapes found throughout Ontario. She is a passionate hiker and plein air painter. This direct interaction with nature allows her to translate the essence of Ontario beauty onto her canvas. It is through her eyes and her interpretation that viewers come to appreciate the unique charm and beauty of Georgian Bay, Muskoka marshes and Sandbanks and Pinery dunes.
