Chantal Leblanc

Chantal is a figurative artist living in Toronto known for vibrant, expressive works featuring figurative women and children as well as occasional explorations of animals and abstract florals. Through bold color and intentional anonymity, her imagery invites viewers to project their own stories and emotions onto each figure or form. The absence of facial detail becomes a universal space—one where memory, imagination, and lived experience intertwine.
Much of Chantal’s artistic voice is shaped by personal loss. The passing of both her mother and sister deeply influenced her creative journey, inspiring a body of work that examines grief, resilience, and quiet strength. Creating art became a way for her to honor these relationships while transforming emotions into color, movement, and life.
An educator as well as an artist, Chantal works closely with children, a connection that infuses her work with warmth, playfulness, and sensitivity. This dual role enriches her perspective, allowing her to create art that bridges emotional healing, storytelling, and innate creativity.
Chantal continues to expand her visual language, celebrating the human spirit through color, form, and heartfelt expression.
